Instead of sending samples to an external lab, we produce results in-house in 15-30 minutes. This can be life-saving in emergencies and pre-surgical assessments.
Which tests do we run?
- Complete blood count (CBC): Infection, anaemia, clotting
- Biochemistry: Liver, kidney, glucose, electrolytes
- Urinalysis: Urinary tract disease, crystals
- Rapid tests: FIV, FeLV, parvo, distemper, leishmania
- Faecal analysis: Intestinal parasites, protozoa
When is blood work needed?
Before surgery, for annual check-ups in senior pets (7+), chronic disease monitoring, unexplained loss of appetite or weight, or increased water intake.
